With the incoming wind and weather today, we decided to stay inshore for a half day. We had a lovely family from West Virginia with a newborn baby that wanted to catch a shark. Literally they said they had been going to the piers and surf fishing for a week and just wanted to catch a shark. Any shark would have made them happy, and the guy told me he was jealous of a 1 foot long sand shark a little kid caught off the pier the other day.
We started in the spot and in 4 hours we caught 6 out of 10 sand tiger sharks up to 7 feet, earning both mom and dad Virginia release citations for their sharks. Action the whole time, lots of bites, lots of cranking, and a very happy group! Thanks again! Happy to have it!
