Striper season is here in Virginia Beach. Matador charters currently is doing striped bass fishing charters from rudee inlet in Virginia Beachand the rockfish are here and cooperating. Yesterday we did a full day inshore charter targeting striped bass trolling. yesterday we caught 67 striped bass keeping ten for the grill. The fishing was great with nonstop action catching fish all day in the chespaeake bay. Plenty of bites and plenty of fish made for really fun charter fishing. We are doing rockfish charters all the way through december and if ocean stripers show up off Virginia Beach in January, we will also do ocean rockfish charters.
Sea bass, tautog, flounder, and bluefish are available on the wrecks for all day inshore wreck fishing trips.
Deep dropping has been very good for sea bass, blueline tilefish, grouper, golden tilefish, and wreckfish.
Offshore charters are still catching yellowfin tuna and mahi mahi. Bluefin tuna are right around the corner.
