At Matador Charters, we have fished several inshore fishing trips from Virginia beach this weekend. The inshore charter fishing remains very good with plenty of bluefish and some really nice flounder around Rudee inlet. There have also been plenty of red drum and black drum at the mouth of the Chesapeake bay.
It has been a very strange week for weather in Virginia Beach and we have had a very early season tropical storm to our south for several days. Early this week we will feel the impact of that storm in Virginia Beach and we will not be charter fishing until after the storm passes.
Next friday is the first day of sea bass season and hopefully the weather will cooperate and we will be able to get out and do some fishing. We have several offshore fishing trips booked out of Virginia Beach for next weekend and look forward to the chance to get out and go fishing.
